What you missed at the 2011 event?
The first event in our series, Distribution Automation 2011 was an outstanding success. Held in New York in April 2011, we brought together over 100 delegates involved specifically in Distribution Automation from the leading utilities and technology providers.
Drawing on 17 utility case studies, this event focused on understanding the business case for developing DA. We concentrated on practical solutions for implementing an economically-justified, reliable and intelligent distribution system, alongside technical case studies that included:
- Evaluating Best Practices For Developing Communications Infrastructure Models And Strategies For An Efficient Networked System
- Examining The Contribution Distribution Automation Can Make To SADI / SAFI Statistics To Determine The Overall Affect On Grid Reliability
- Assessing The Capabilities Of Distribution Automation To Aid Intermittency Smoothing For Renewable Energy Resources
Spearheading development in Distribution Automation, this inaugural event received extremely positive feedback from delegates, speakers and sponsors alike. You can view attendees conference reviews by clicking here.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the first dedicated US Distribution Automation Conference and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Nashville in 2012!
